One Merge Is ENOUGH!

If we're going to lose our miracles again then I think this kind of compensation is necessary. And I do mean necessary, we've gone through a lot of bullshit so far because of these merges.

UndertowCity's suggestion is by far the most sensible and probably one of the most thought out ones we'll find on these forums.

Reply 47# UndertowCity's post

It would be great if IGG actually went through with that suggestion.
Though I'm sorta expecting something like "Too late to implement it" or a "Rejected"........

No word from the admins yet....

Guess they don't like suggestions and don't care about the players...

Not really that surprising anymore really....

Just to avoid further upsettedness (yes, I know it's not a word)...

Don't forget to stop all production that won't be completed before downtime... and pull all your fleets inside.

It says everything will be okay, but I remember the other posts about the other merges... fleets disappearing (even though it said they'd be randomly stored), canceled production queues not returning the base materials (even though it says it'll stop those production queues)...

So save yourself some more possible trouble... the merge is already hard enough on some people, don't make it harder on yourself by chancing losing time/resources by 'hoping' it works this time, and fleets get stored right, and production queues get stopped right.

This post was going fine until mods jumped in talking some nonsense about it being taken off topic.  This phenomenon seems to occur whenever anyone starts bashing IGG for some reason.  We get it, you're whores for IGG.

All the posts have been really relevant, if viewed in the light that this ain't a voting forum, it's a debating forum.  People here to express there view, spurred by emotion and frustration.  I can sympathize with it whole heartedly.

When I had level 14 fields I didn't even want to move closer to my alliance because I didn't want to lose them.  I couldn't imagine moving twice.  And the mv's.  My god guys.  Takes millions of resources to level those to a sufficient standing.  And now with alliances still being only 80 members, which makes a heck of a lot of alliances now, any mv can be attacked relentlessly by the numerous alliances and individuals who don't want to see them level.

It sucks.  It really sucks.  And the really suck thing about it is, Mercury is still yet to be merged.  That'll be another reset.  And if they merge them all because the loss of participants due to the merging, they'll merge again with them all, which is another reset.

Any way you look at it you are looking at at least one more merge after this one.  So, I guess it's where we see who are men and who are ladies.  You can pout and whine about the inevitable, and of course leave knowing what's to come, and possibly come again afterward.  Or you can make plans to utilize the chaos to your advantage.  If you like the game itself that is.

And I do like it.  It's one of the best interfaced games there is out there, without downloading something of course.  And also, in context, it's like starting a new game on a console, and being able to use all the skills you learned during the first run.  The difficulty level even goes up just by adding more enemies.  We do it all the time, those that own consoles.

So how is this really any different?   Besides the fact that we still don't have that sky fortress *cough cough*.
